‘Captain Marvel’ Trailer: Brie Larson Lights It Up In Cosmic Action

The cosmic ambitions of Captain Marvel are front-and-center in the new trailer, which premiered at halftime of ESPN’s Monday Night Football game between the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles.
Captain Marvel, the 21st film from Marvel Studios, reaches theaters on March 8. The film stars Brie Larson as the title character, who has been described as the single most powerful hero in Marvel’s interlocking screen mythology, which includes Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk, the Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Panther.
In the pages of Marvel Comics the hero called Captain Marvel dates back to Marvel Super-Heroes No. 12, cover-dated December 1967. That character, a brainchild of the late Stan Lee, was introduced as a male warrior of the alien Kree race whose birth-name,  Mar-Vell, was mispronounced by Earthlings leading to his similar-sounding superhero moniker.

University Students Strip Totally Unclad For School Calendar

Some students from the 12 societies at the University of Bristol, England, stripped totally Unclad as they posed for photos for their University Christmas Calendar In one of the viral photos, the students who stripped totally Unclad for their University Christmas Calendar were spotted rehearsing their lines for a play and displaying their shuttlecocks on the badminton court. The other photos had them hiding their modesty with tactically placed protective facemasks, showing the ultimate frisbee team standing proud in the park, the lifesaving society letting it all hang out underwater and the Snowsports society turning their backs to the camera on the dry slopes. The photos taken by Bryan Wong and the RAG’s events officer, Paige Taylor, have been “nearly sold out”, and the proceeds will be going to three local charities.
