Selena Gomez exudes confidence during Puma shoot as she talks being 'strong'... after healing at mental health center due to Bieber heartbreak
Selena Gomez has talked about confidence after her release from a mental health facility this month.
The Wolves singer sat down with ELLE.com as she promoted her new SGxPUMA campaign shoot, the first collection designed by Selena.
The beauty - who saw her ex Justin Bieber suddenly wed Hailey Baldwin this summer - addressed the pressures of social media and what makes her feel strong inside and out.
The name of this first SG x PUMA collection is Strong Girl. Inspired by Selena’s initials, she wanted to show today’s girls that one of the most important qualities is ‘strength.'
'I think it’s important for girls to know the strength in everything, their identity and their soul, lies within themselves,' the Texas native said.
'And too much today you give that away so easily, from social media to school or relationships. And I think it’s important—I want to remind girls that they’re perfectly strong the way they are.'
