Priyanka Chopra Wore a Blue Traditional Indian Suit for Her Pre-Wedding Puja

Tomorrow, the pre-wedding ceremonies will formally start in Jodhpur, where Priyanka and Nick will wed this weekend. The Indian Times reported that Thursday will be Priyanka's sangeet and mehendi ceremonies at Umaid Bhawan Palace, their wedding venue. (A sangeet ceremony is a celebration with dancing, singing, and music ahead of the wedding. Priyanka and Nick are both rumored to be performing there. The mehendi, meanwhile, is the henna ceremony, where Priyanka will have henna applied in elaborate designs for her wedding day.)
A Christian ceremony and Hindu ceremony will take place back-to-back on December 2, Daily News and Analysis is reporting. "The Christian ceremony will happen first, after which Nickyanka will change their outfits and get ready for the Hindu nuptials," a source told the outlet. "Their outfits are color-coordinated." A day or two after their wedding, they will attend a reception thrown by the Chopra family in New Delhi.
A source explained to Entertainment Tonight this week that Priyanka and Nick have brought together "the people that mean the most" to "celebrate all week with different Indian traditions and various parties. Priyanka and Nick are excited to get married and start the new year as husband and wife."
Their wedding overall will be a "mostly traditional Indian wedding," ET's source said. "Nick understands how important it is to Priyanka to stay true to her background, and wants her to have the best wedding day."
