Boko Haram jihadists have killed three soldiers in an attack on a military base in northeast Nigeria’s Borno state near Lake Chad, military and civilian sources said. Bobby Brown  says a 2017 documentary about his late wife  Whitney Houston  used more than a half-hour’s worth of footage of him and his children without his consent — and that’s good enough for a lawsuit. The one-time New Edition and solo R&B hitmaker has filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against  Showtime  and the  BBC  over their film  Whitney: Can I Be Me . “The film contains footage that Brown and [his  late  daughter  Bobbi Kristina Brown ] has never consented to have released,” according the suit filed Tuesday in New York District Court (read it  here ). “Brown and [his late daughter] appear in the film for a substantial period of time, in excess of thirty (30) minutes. … Brown never signed or executed a release for the airing of the material that appears in the film.”

The CW  has put in development  Super Clean , a dramedy based on the upcoming graphic novel, from  GLOW  co-executive producer  Sascha Rothchild  and CBS TV Studios. The comic,  SuperCLEAN,  was created by Heath Amodio and Cullen Bunn. Written by Rothchild,   Super Clean  explores the superhero genre from the human side. Becky Masters, an uber-organized and brilliant human, and her ragtag team of non-powered cohorts navigate the danger and drama of “cleaning up” after superheroes and villains, all while Becky works to prove her superhero boyfriend is innocent of a dastardly crime. Rothchild executive produces with John Baldecchi, Doug Barry and Amodio. Bunn is a producer. Rothchild is co-executive producer on Netflix’s  GLOW , which is  going into its third season .  Super Clean  marks a return to the CW for Rothchild, where she worked on Season 2 of  The Carrie Diaries  as a writer-producer. A reunion special featuring several cast members from  HBO ’s now-wrapped epic  Game of Thrones , shot earlier this year in Northern Ireland and hosted by Conan O’Brien, is headed straight to video — but it’s not as bad as it sounds. HBO confirmed Wednesday that the special, shot in Belfast earlier this year, will appear exclusively on a complete Seasons 1-8 DVD  GoT  box set to hit shelves sometime in 2019. A story in  Entertainment Weekly  said some past cast members including Sean Bean were involved in the interview special. As of now there are no plans for the special to air on HBO, we understand. As it was for the premium network, it also won’t appear on  Conan . Reps for O’Brien confirmed the special was shot but were sworn to secrecy by HBO on details. Among other things he previously emceed a 10-castmember interview on  Conan  in 2015.

Netflix  has completed principal photography in India on  Dhaka , the action-adventure feature starring Chris Hemsworth ( The Avengers ). Filming took place in Ahmedabad and Mumbai and will now move to Bangkok and Phuket, Thailand. Production is set to wrap in late February. Sam Hargrave makes his directorial debut from an original script by  Joe Russo ( Avengers: Infinity War ). David Harbour ( Stranger Things),  Golshifteh Farahani ( Paterson ), Randeep Hooda ( Highway ), Manoj Bajpayee ( Gangs of Wasseypur ), Priyanshu Painyuli ( Bhavesh Joshi Superhero ) and newcomer Rudhraksh Jaiswal also star. The film is being produced by Anthony and Joe Russo and Mike Larocca under their AGBO Films banner. Hemsworth will produce for his own shingle Thematic Entertainment.
